About Me
Dr. Jedrzejko is a community general surgeon based at Niagara Health's South Niagara Sites in Niagara Falls and Welland Hospitals, Ontario, Canada. She is also an Assistant Clinical Professor (Adjunct) in the Department of Medicine at McMaster University. Dr. Jedrzejko performs a broad range of general surgical and endoscopic care including the management of benign and malignant breast, skin, and colorectal diseases, abdominal wall hernias, gall bladder disease, and acute intra-abdominal surgical conditions. She aims to deliver high-quality surgical care to equalize socioeconomic, cultural, and geographic disparities in health outcomes with an academic focus on global surgical access and cancer care.
Dr. Jedrzejko was born and raised in Ontario and is the first-generation daughter of Somali and Polish immigrants. She holds BHSc (Honours) and MD degrees from McMaster University and an MSc in Global Health Science and Epidemiology from the University of Oxford. She completed her general surgery residency at the University of British Columbia based in Vancouver, BC.
Outside of medicine, Dr. Jedrzejko enjoys spending time with family and friends, travel, reading, gardening, music, and theatre.

The new Niagara Health South Niagara Site hospital started construction in July 2023 and is planned to open in summer 2028. This hospital will replace Niagara Falls Site and Welland Site hospitals for general surgery services including Dr. Jedrzejko's endoscopy and surgery sites. It will be located at the intersection of Biggar Road and Montrose Road in Niagara Falls, just off the Queen Elizabeth Way (QEW).
